If only our worries were something that we could put in a box and hide in a closet.... Do you ever just wish you could give your worries to someone else, and let THEM worry about it instead of doing that yourself? That's sort of what I do in my job. When people make a consulting appointment, I always encourage them to send me a list of questions they may have about high school. I promise to compile the questions, and discuss them during our appointment. The questions allow me to have some handouts ready, or email them links if it's a telephone consultation. But the truth is, I really don't NEED any extra questions, because my presentations are pretty thorough. The main reason I ask for a list of questions is so that people can relax while they are waiting for their appointment. They don't have to stress out about every homeschool issue they think of. Instead, they can give the issue to me and KNOW they'll get help - and then they can forget about it and enjoy life for awhile. It just allows people a chance to give their worries to someone else!
So have a great summer. If you want to set up an appointment, and give me your worries for awhile, just let me know. I am currently scheduling appointments about 2 months in advance, but you can email me your questions for the whole time you are waiting. And wouldn't it be nice to not have to think about them for a couple months!
