What other records should be kept for P.E. if your child is playing a sport? Do you need to keep a schedule, wins or losses, stats, anything like that?
I was told at a recent seminar (for my state) to keep a detailed log for P.E. (specifically for high school credits). For example ... my children do taekwon-do. Other parents attending also had children in martial arts, and we were told to keep a log of all classes they attend (dates, times, location, photos if possible), at home practice (dates, times, some specifics about what they did during the practice time, photos), tournaments competed in (date, location, photo of any medals or trophies received, copies of any certificates received, photos or videos from the events, copies of registration forms for the events), seminars attended (date, location, copy of certificates received, copy of registration form, photos if possible), and the like. We were also told it would be a very good idea to type up a formal statement about the particular activity for the homeschool year and have an official instructor sign the statement.
