Our experience has been that we didn't have to choose whether to send the scores until AFTER the test anyway so it wasn't a problem. My student still has trouble taking tests and missed a passing score on a CLEP by one point. She passed it 6 months later, but only the passing score went to the college. By the way, we still come out WAY ahead on this because the textbook itself for the regular class was more than taking the test, so even taking the test twice costs a great deal less than the class!
