My daughters (11 and 9) have Webkinz, and they sometimes use the Spanish version of the website. I also require my high school age son to watch a favorite movie in Spanish periodically.

There are only three of us, and we're the same gender. To make up for the variety we'd get with other classmates, we use teddy bears. Even my challenged learner is in on the action - her idea, not mine. It's truly hilarious to be speaking French in little squeaky voices. We can practice manners (think tea party), invent situations for them, make up family trees, and talk about their traits (color, age, length of fur, size). We laugh our way through each lesson.

These are fabulous ideas! We're working on French now as well (my language from high school so that I can muddle through it!) This will be such a fun way to work on our vocabulary.
