I had the same experience with a local ppp. The people were lovely, but I was paying them monthly and felt like I was still doing all the footwork myself. So basically, I was paying to go to meetings. That ended quickly but it did serve to give me perspective and confidence to continue on my own and, if I disregard my frustration level, it was a good learning experience.
