Here is the problem.  Colleges all have very unique, very different policies from one another.  In addition, college admission policies can change over time, sometimes quite suddenly, it seems.  That's why half the time the answer to a question is "check with the college where you plan to apply." Why can't things just stay the same?   I hate change, so this is a real problem for me.   Colleges have changed dramatically over time.
