Radical Ideas - Fabulous Results

Radical Ideas - Fabulous Results
It may look like we're nuts to other people.  Even though we may look a little strange to others, taking radical actions can often get fabulous results.  Remember the story about Jesus healing the paralytic? Mark 2:1-11A few days later, when Jesus again entered Capernaum, the people heard that he had come home. So many gathered that there was no room left, not even outside the door, and he preached the word to them. Some men...

Who Hit You?

Who Hit You?
I'm working my way through Luke, and I was struck by the comment made by guards beating Jesus.Luke 22:64They blindfolded him and demanded, "Prophesy! Who hit you?" My Children Never Listen to Me!

My Children Never Listen to Me!

Jesus took the Twelve aside and told them, "We are going up to Jerusalem, and everything that is written...

My Night-Guard is Easy and My Burden is Light

My Night-Guard is Easy and My Burden is Light
Come unto me, all you that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and you shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light. Matthew 11:28-30 KJV Hi everyone, Matt here.I'm giving Lee the day off, or at least I'll hide in the den and type while she...

Homeschool High School: A Step-by-Step Guide
Is homeschooling high school an overwhelming task?  Try focusing on smaller, simpler tasks to achieve your goals.John 2:1-11Jesus Changes Water to WineOn the third day a wedding took place at Cana in Galilee. Jesus' mother was there, and Jesus and his disciples had also been invited to the wedding. When the wine was gone, Jesus' mother said to him, "They have no more wine."  "Dear woman, why do you involve me?" Jesus replied, "My time has...
