Homeschool High School Science - Biology Equipment

It's time to shop for curriculum for next year.  If you are looking for science equipment, I love working with HomeScienceTools.com   I used them for most of my science purchases, and they are WONDERFUL to work with.  They have a nice section on "How to select a microscope" that can really help you decide.

If you would like a suggestion for a microscope, this is like the one I got.

I found it very helpful to have a microscope case, to keep it safe and dust-free.  This is the carrying case I chose.

Remember that if cost is an issue, biology has the most expensive laboratory equipment.  You can share with others, do online labs, or choose not to do the lab science for Biology, but concentrate on labwork for your other sciences.

I buy almost all our science stuff from HST. Love them! The things we have dissected do not smell like the ones we had to buy for a co-op this year.
I ordered cow eye balls, worms and owl pellets this year from them. :-)
