I agree with Elizabeth. Our previous umbrella school uses option 3, which I think is unfair that a 90, 91 or 92 would not count as "A". I praise God for another umbrella school which uses option 4 plus their fees are lower.
The private Christian high school I attended used option 3, and I hated it. It always seemed unfair that a 90, 91, & 92 didn't count as an "A" especially when my good friend from public school got option 4.
I will definitely NOT use option 3 with my children!
I tried to incorporate games into our homeschool whenever possible, in order to make school fun. We played math games, art games, and economics games. They would giggle when I wrote on the assignment sheet "Play 30 minutes of Masterpiece" or "Play SAT Game." Making homeschooling fun is a great way to instill the love of learning.
