Creating Transcripts for Your Unique Child"
Date: Thursday, May 18, 2017
Time: 1:00 PM, Pacific Time
Some homeschoolers are more unique than others! If your child is not in the center of the bell-shaped curve, this class can help you make their homeschool transcript. In this class, I'll show you how to create a homeschool transcript for gifted children, and struggling learners, artistically inclined or mathematically geeky. This class will help if your child has been unschooled, or is bookishly earning college credit with CLEP. It will help if your child has withdrawn from public school, or is taking a handful of part-time classes. It will help if your family uses online classes in dozens of places, or chooses full time community college dual enrollment. We'll look together at many different situations so you can learn general strategies about how to make your child look great on this important piece of paper. I'll show you how to communicate your child's strengths and accomplishments on their transcript, so that colleges will appreciate that uniqueness. You don't have to change the way you homeschool in order to make your child fit the 'college box.' Create a unique transcript for your unique child, and it will help them stand out in the crowd of college applicants!

Gold Care Club Convention Get Together
It's convention season! Are you planning a trip to one of these conferences for some continuing education? I'll be attending:
- ICHE in Napierville, Illinois (June 1-3, 2017)
- WHO in Puyallup, Washington (June 9-10)
- AFHE in Phoenix, Arizona (July 7-8, 2017)
Once I have my schedules for each of these venues, I'll be planning a time to meet with my Gold Care Club members that are in attendance. I would LOVE to see you! Be sure to save the date for one of these conventions and come hang out with me! (Save the date - more definite times will be coming in the May and June update.)
Gold Care Club Personal Consultations
Taking your consultation is easy! Call-in consultation time is every Wednesday, from 9 AM to 3 PM (Pacific Time). There is no need to make an appointment. Simply call. If I don't answer, please leave me a voicemail - that essentially "saves your place" in line. I will call you back as soon as possible. If you prefer, you may have an email consultation Mondaythrough Friday. I am often too busy with phone consultations to check my email on Wednesdays, however. Please, do not call me while you are driving. I have a policy of no consultations when driving, whether you are on a "hands-free" device or not.
Already a member? Login to take these classes soon, before you forget! Take advantage of these resources between now and the 20th of June, when fresh resources will be available!
